Welcome to Debra Adelson Jewelry. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to the following terms.

About My Work

Every piece on this site is handmade by me. Unless otherwise noted, each listing shows the exact, one-of-a-kind item you will receive. No two pieces are identical, and slight variations in color, texture, and form are an inherent part of handmade work, not defects.

Orders and Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. I reserve the right to cancel any order and issue a full refund if an item is no longer available or if an error in pricing or description has occurred.

Sizing and Fit

Ring sizing, bracelet sizing, and necklace length information are provided on my FAQ page. If you are unsure of your size, please reach out before placing your order. I am happy to help you find the right fit. Custom sizing requests may affect production time.

Shipping

I offer free shipping anywhere in the continental US, generally via UPS Ground. In some cases I may ship via USPS Priority Mail. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been processed and a shipping label generated. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost.

International orders are available. Please contact me directly at jewelry@debraadelson.com so I can provide shipping options and send you an invoice.

Once a package has been handed to the carrier, I am not responsible for delays caused by the shipping service. I am not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. If you have concerns about a shipment, please contact me and I will do my best to help resolve the situation.

Returns and Exchanges

I do not offer refunds on ready-made purchases, but I gladly accept exchanges within two weeks of delivery. If you are purchasing a gift, let me know and I will extend that window to fit your timeline.

Items must be returned in their original condition, well-packaged in a padded box or padded envelope. Returns must be shipped with tracking, and you must provide the tracking number once the package has shipped. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense. I cannot issue a credit or exchange until the original piece has been safely received, and I cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Custom orders and commissions are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Each one is made specifically for you, to your specifications, with time and care, and cannot be resold.

Custom Orders and Commissions

Custom work requires a deposit before I begin, with the balance due upon completion. By commissioning a piece, you agree to the scope, materials, and timeline we have discussed. Because custom work is made to your specifications, it is non-refundable once production has begun.

Care and Liability

Detailed care instructions are provided on my FAQ page. My pieces are handmade and should be treated accordingly. I am not responsible for damage resulting from improper care, wear during activities not suitable for fine jewelry, or exposure to chemicals, water, or extreme temperatures.

Intellectual Property

All photography, design, and content on this website is my original work and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without my written permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Limitation of Liability

My website and its contents are provided as-is. I make every effort to ensure accuracy, but I am not responsible for typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or outdated information. I reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders when necessary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or any products purchased through it.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms represent the entire agreement between us regarding your use of this website and supersede any prior communications on the subject.
