FAQs
Q
The most important question, in my opinion, is why should you buy a piece from me, especially given that there is so much jewelry out there?
A
Behind this website is me, a single independent artist creating each piece with care, passion, and attention to detail for almost 30 years. I take the trust my clients place in me very seriously, and over the years I have built relationships with many who return again and again. I love that my work can be a part of your story, celebrating milestones, special moments, and everyday joys. Whether you have met me at a show, discovered me on social media, or stumbled here through the magic of the internet, I want you to feel confident that every piece you collect is made with the quality and craftsmanship that only a handmade object made by the maker herself can provide.
Most jewelry is made to be worn. Mine is made to be discovered. I sculpt glass and metal slowly and deliberately, letting the material guide the form. Every curve, every layer, every shift of light is intentional. Nothing is cast, pressed, or hurried. Colors change as light moves across them. Each piece holds movement, balance, and surprise. When you wear one of my creations, it is not just adornment. It is a small sculpture, a story, a fragment of something rare, waiting to be discovered. I hope my jewelry resonates with you, offering a sense of connection and authenticity that mass-produced pieces cannot, and giving you full confidence that your investment is thoughtful, meaningful, and lasting.

I generally make stock rings in sizes 6-9 because they are the most common sizes, but I can either size or remake most pieces in any size. If a ring is ordered in a drastically different size (more than 2 sizes in either direction) than the one in stock, it may need to be remade and scaled up or down to suit the scale of the ring size.
Contact me to discuss ring sizing.

The easiest way to find your ring size is to visit a local jeweler and have your finger measured professionally. If that is not convenient, you can also measure at home:
Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.
Mark where the ends meet and measure the length with a ruler in millimeters.
Finger size can change slightly throughout the day and with the seasons. For the most comfortable fit, measure your finger at the end of the day when it is warm and avoid measuring when your hands are cold.
I am happy to send you a complimentary ring sizer so that you can order the perfect size. There are also several apps available that can be downloaded onto your smartphone to help you figure out ring size based on an existing ring. I recommend one called Ring Sizer - Size Meter.
If you are between sizes or unsure, I am happy to help guide you to the best fit. Please reach out before placing your order so we can ensure a comfortable and perfect fit.

You can measure your wrist by cutting a strip of paper and wrapping it around your wrist. I consider 6-6.5" a small, 7-7.5 average or medium, and anything above that to be a large. When ordering a custom size, please give me the actual measurement of your wrist without padding the number so I can make it fit you correctly.

If your bracelet arrives and doesn’t fit, I can walk you through the steps to send it back to me for resizing. I’m always happy to adjust a piece so it fits you perfectly.

My necklace measurements are listed in each product description. Most necklaces are adjustable between 16–20” unless otherwise noted, and I’m always happy to create a custom length for you. Lengths are measured end-to-end (including the clasp and extender). Some designs with sculptural elements may have specific length limitations, but I’ll let you know what’s possible for the piece you love. If you're unsure which length will fit best, the size chart below can help—or feel free to contact me.

My pieces are created by laminating multiple layers of glass, with the top layer made from clear optical glass. This glass is highly refractive and exceptionally durable, produced with platinum during the melting process to create a hard surface that resists breakage. Laminated glass generally does not shatter upon impact because the interlayers hold it together, making it remarkably resilient for everyday wear. While durable, it is not indestructible, like all glass, it can break and should be treated with care.

My work combines glass, sterling silver, 18k gold, 14k rose gold, and genuine gemstones. I strive to use stones that are untreated whenever possible, avoiding dyed or irradiated gems. These are authentic, high-quality materials — not crystals or rhinestones.
-
Sterling silver: Store in an airtight plastic bag to avoid tarnish. Use a dry rouge cloth on highly polished areas and a 3M Scotch-Brite pad on matte or textured surfaces.
Glass surfaces: Clean gently with glass cleaner applied to a soft paper towel.
Gemstones: Be careful with delicate stones such as opals, pearls, or rough minerals; avoid harsh chemicals. Tarnish removers like Tarnex can be used carefully, but never let them contact delicate stones.
With proper care, your one-of-a-kind piece will maintain its brilliance for years to come.
-
While my pieces are made to be durable, they are handmade, one-of-a-kind works featuring carved glass, gemstones, and hand-fabricated sterling silver. To preserve their beauty and longevity:
Always remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or soaking in water. Chlorine, saltwater, and pool chemicals can damage both metals and stones.
Avoid sports or high-impact activities, as stones may loosen or glass may chip under sudden pressure.
Keep away from harsh chemicals—cleaning products, perfumes, and lotions can tarnish silver or affect gemstone luster.
Protect from extreme temperatures; sudden heat or cold can stress the stones or the glass carving.
With proper care, your one-of-a-kind piece will maintain its brilliance for years to come.

I generally ship items out immediately if no modifications need to be made. My work is almost entirely one-of-a-kind, so every piece listed (unless otherwise stated) is the exact piece that you will be receiving.

I offer free shipping anywhere in the continental US, usually via UPS Ground. Due to rising fuel costs, UPS shipping to some areas has become increasingly expensive, so in certain cases I may ship via USPS Priority Mail instead. Either way, you will receive your tracking number once your order is processed and the shipping label has been generated. You also have the option to purchase an expedited shipping option.

Yes!! I can ship to any location in the world… contact me to make the purchase. Once I know your exact location I can give you all the shipping options and send you an invoice payable online.

While I do not offer full refunds, I gladly accept exchanges within two weeks of your purchase so you can shop with confidence. If you are buying a piece as a gift, let me know, and I will happily extend the exchange window to suit your timeline. Because every piece is made by hand, it is important that returns are protected during shipping. Please send items in a well-padded box or padded envelope to ensure they arrive safely. All returns must be shipped with a method that includes tracking, and tracking information should be provided once the package has shipped. Shipping is at the client’s expense, and I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items.
No credits or exchanges will be issued until the original piece has been safely received.
Custom orders and commissions are non-refundable and cannot be returned. Each one is made specifically for you with time, care, and intention, to your specifications.
