From my ‘Shallow Pool Series’…I’m experimenting with the concept of creating compositions with volume by piling the elements in a seemingly haphazard way—-but is in fact pretty deliberate. I love to combine rare, dissimilar elements that play off one another—-combining natural elements with those that I’ve created. The glass in this series is carved, in my opinion to resemble the surface of water.

• Hand constructed sterling silver, hand carved glass, genuine sapphire, blue topaz, and white topaz.

• *Earring weight is a major concern for many of my customers. With that in mind, I carefully weigh my materials as I work to ensure that my finished product is not only wearable, but comfortable. With years of input from clients, I have it figured out to a science, and I am careful to stick within those parameters.
