Early Bloom Necklace

$990.00

I have to be honest: I resisted making flower-inspired jewelry for years. I always felt like flowers were a bit overdone in the jewelry world, so I intentionally steered clear. But inspiration has a funny way of doing what it wants. Lately, my garden has been calling the shots in the studio, and I finally just had to answer—and I'm so glad I did, lol.

The Early Bloom Necklace features an asymmetrical double-flower layout that balances a deep, royal blue blossom right alongside a bright, aqua flower, complete with hand-fabricated sterling silver leaves tucked organically into the side. I hand-carved each petal from vibrant glass to give them a subtle, ruffled organic texture. Like all of my glass pieces, the material is opalescent, luminescent, and highly reflective, catching the light and shifting in color as you move.

Right at the center of each flower, layered sterling silver ruffles cradle a brilliant, light-green peridot. The pendant connects directly to a gorgeous, fluid double-strand sparkle chain that catches the light beautifully from every angle. The chain is fully adjustable up to 20 inches, making it easy to sit perfectly against your collarbone no matter your neckline. It has a fantastic organic presence that feels artistic, bold, and did my best to make it anything but ordinary.

Every piece of glass is made by a process called cold-working, where the glass is carved at room temperature with no heat and is never liquid or pressed into a mold. If you want to learn more about my process and the durability of my materials, you can read the post where I break down my entire process on my Studio Journal.

  • Hand-fabricated sterling silver setting and sculptural leaf accents.

  • Hand-carved/Cold-worked, color-shifting royal blue and teal glass flowers with genuine peridot accents.

  • Double-strand sparkly sterling silver chain, adjustable up to 20".

  • One of a kind, signed, and copyrighted.
