The Green Garden Party Ring is a fun, bold statement piece that is easy and comfortable to wear. I carved the main flower petals from a vibrant green glass, giving it a subtle ruffled texture. Like all of my glass pieces, it is opalescent, luminescent, and highly reflective, shifting in color as it moves and catches the light.
Right in the center, I hand-fabricated layered sterling silver ruffles to cradle a bright, sparkling blue topaz stone. The whole flower sits on a solid silver band with a highly polished planished finish that catches the light beautifully and feels incredibly smooth to wear. It has a great organic texture and a pop of color that works just as well with a casual outfit as it does when you're dressed up.
Every piece of glass is made by a process called cold-working where the glass is carved at room temperature with no heat and never liquid or pressed into a mold. If you want to learn more about my process and the durability of my materials, you can read the post where I break down my entire process on my Studio Journal.
