Soulmates Ring

This ring is all about harmonious contrast—bringing together two complementary purple tones and distinct textures that balance each other out. I wanted to design a piece where raw, organic beauty meets a smooth, rich jewel tone in a way that feels like a perfect partnership.

At the core of the piece is a large, raw lepidolite stone, showing off soft lavender hues with a shimmering, layered mica texture that catches light from every angle. Resting right beside it is an oval, rose-cut tanzanite in a deep blue-violet tone, bringing a rich color depth and polish to the arrangement. I hand-formed sterling silver "bubbles" around the edges to frame the stones and hold the whole cluster together organically.

I hand-fabricated the settings in sterling silver, custom-fitting the bezels to hug both the rough edges of the lepidolite and the smooth curve of the tanzanite. The band is solid, smooth, and shaped for comfortable, balanced wear.
