The Sugar Rush Pendant is carved from laminated glass built from multiple colors held within a single sculptural form. Violet, pink, yellow, and periwinkle blue sit in close proximity—creating a sense of warmth, abundance, and buoyant internal movement.
The glass is entirely cold-worked: laminated, then slowly carved and shaped by hand without the use of heat. As material is cut back, rounded planes and pockets emerge, breaking the color fields apart and re-containing them within the form. Light moves across the surface and through the glass, causing the colors to shift subtly and continuously.
The glass form is framed in hand-fabricated sterling silver, with floating circular elements that feel both organic and deliberately balanced. A single citrine is set into the glass, adding a quiet point of clarity and brightness.
The necklace is suspended on a handmade, triple-strand sterling silver sparkly chain which is adjustable from 16–20 inches, making it easy to wear with a variety of necklines. The chain can be worn separately as well.
