Sunset Glow Ring
I love experimenting with the concept of creating compositions with volume by piling the elements in a seemingly haphazard way—-but is in fact pretty deliberate. I love to combine rare, dissimilar elements that play off one another.
Hessonite garnet, often referred to as "cinnamon stone," has a rich, warm reddish-brown color with golden undertones. Its depth and warmth add a sense of sophistication and richness to any design, with the stone's natural transparency allowing light to catch and enhance its fiery hues.
Raw opal is known for its unique, unpolished appearance, showcasing an organic, earthy quality. Its play of color, ranging from milky white to flashes of vibrant hues like blue, green, and pink, adds an intriguing contrast to the garnets. The raw form of the opal brings a textured, natural edge that balances the smooth, polished facets of the garnets.
Mozambique garnet stands out with its intense red to deep orange color, known for its brilliant clarity and fiery brilliance.
Together, these three stones create a captivating interplay of rich, warm tones and organic textures.
Hand-formed sterling silver, genuine hessonite garnet, raw opal, and Mozambique garnet.
