Cloud Pin/Pendant
This could possibly be the most difficult piece I’ve ever had to photograph because the color is truly opalescent, and in person, reads clear with opalescent flashes of color. For some reason, it reads yellow on camera, but in person, it’s not really the case.
The inspiration for this series is soft, cloud-like puddles of glass. I’m exploring the ideas of objects being pressed together to imprint on one another as well as the negative space created by pushing the objects right on through one another. I guess my thought process really doesn’t matter all that much in the end, but I’m intrigued with the soft, dreamy shapes and textures that are the result of this line of exploration.
Cold-worked/hand-carved glass, hand-constructed sterling silver, and genuine amethyst.
Can be worn as either a pin or a pendant using the pin converter (included).
An adjustable sterling silver omega is included.
