The Bubble Up Ring centers on texture and playful dimension, mimicking the organic patterns of rising air bubbles trapped in water. It relies on a compact, sculptural shape that packs a lot of visual detail into a very wearable size.
I hand-fabricate the smooth bezel and comfortable ring shank from sterling silver, keeping the metal finish clean and classic. The centerpiece features a custom-cut segment of carved glass that transitions through a soft, luminous color palette. I carve small, polished hemispherical recesses directly into the surface of the glass, which catch ambient light and create an internal optical pattern that changes depending on the angle of your hand.
Every glass piece is ground and textured individually in my studio, meaning the bubble patterns and exact color depths are completely unique to this specific piece.
