The Citrine Honu Ring is inspired by the vibrant color gradients, organic contours, and otherworldly life forms found in thriving coral reef ecosystems. This design relies on an interlocking composition of rich tones and architectural metalwork to build depth on the hand.
I hand-fabricate the custom bezel framework and structural ring shank from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that provides a beautiful sparkle and depth. Secured within this textured border is a hand-shaped cold-worked glass element that transitions seamlessly through saturated fields of amber, green, and deep red. Standing out alongside the glass is a raised, polished silver bezel holding a genuine citrine gemstone accent that catches the ambient light.
Because I shape and polish each glass element individually in my studio, the exact contours and internal color flow belong entirely to this one-of-a-kind piece.
