The Crimson Lagoon Ring draws inspiration from the dramatic geology of volcanic craters and ancient lake beds. Evoking the imagery of isolated islands surrounded by deep, mysterious waters, this architectural statement ring features an interlocking landscape of rich color and organic form.
I hand-fabricate the undulating, custom-shaped outer bezel and the structured ring band from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that creates a brilliant sparkle and depth. Nestled inside this shimmering frame is a hand-shaped cold-worked glass element displaying a deeply saturated crimson palette. Rising like small islands from the glass surface are three independent, polished silver bezels holding a genuine topaz, a deep red garnet, and a luminous pearl accent.
Because I cut, shape, and polish every glass element individually in my studio, the fluid perimeter and internal color depth belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind ring.
