The Indigo Condensation Ring is an exploration of moisture, atmospheric pressure, and droplets catching the early morning light. Inspired by the way dew forms on organic surfaces, this design gathers a cluster of cool-toned elements at the top of the hand to look entirely spontaneous, like a snapshot of nature caught mid-motion.
I hand-fabricated the ring's custom frame from sterling silver, keeping the structural band wide and smooth to balance the highly detailed top setting. The main sculptural glass element features a deep indigo-to-cobalt gradient, meticulously cold-worked to form soft, bubble-like contours that play beautifully with shadows. Crowning this velvet pool is a stacked trio of bezels holding an artful combination of faceted genuine amethyst, tanzanite, and iolite, each stone bringing its own flash of violet and deep blue to mimic shimmering condensation.
This is a remarkably distinctive statement ring that carries a calm, mysterious presence.
