From my Shallow Pool Series, these designs are inspired by the mesmerizing patterns found at the water's edge. The glass in this collection is deeply textured, meticulously carved to mimic the shifting, rippled surface of the water. As you wear it, the piece constantly plays with the light, creating a beautiful interplay of subtle movement, highlights, and deep shadows.
I hand-fabricated each frame from sterling silver, shaping the metal to naturally trace the organic, asymmetric contours of the glass. Two distinct, freeform glass elements overlap slightly on the band, giving the design an architectural yet entirely natural flow. The smooth sterling silver band is wide and tapered, offering a comfortable, secure fit for a piece with such a bold presence.
This makes for a stunning statement ring that speaks to a love for the water and original design. Because every element is shaped by hand in the studio without templates, each iteration is an entirely original art jewelry piece with its own distinct color blend and personality.
