The Orbit Ring is all about clean geometric lines and a sense of constant movement. For this design, I paired a rich, uniquely shaped natural gemstone with a sparkling, faceted accent stone. The magic of this piece is how the hand-fabricated sterling silver hoops loop and float over the gems, framing them like orbits without hiding their color.
It’s definitely a structural, artsy statement piece, but it has a wonderful lightness to it because of the negative space in the design. To anchor all those fluid, overlapping silver arcs, I built it on a sleek, square-shaped sterling silver band that feels solid and stays perfectly upright on your finger.
Because I hand-shape every single silver loop and select each gemstone option individually, every ring in this series comes out with its own unique personality.
