Shadow Drift Ring
The Shadow Drift Ring features a striking, high-contrast trio of stones that gracefully dance across the hand. For this design, I wanted to focus on a moody, light-and-shadow color story, pairing the deep, light-absorbing black of a spinel with a brilliant, sparkling white topaz and a patterned marcasite specimen.
This three-stone arrangement offers a lighter, more delicate silhouette that plays beautifully with reflection and organic texture. I hand-fabricated the individual sterling silver bezels to trace the exact perimeter of each unique stone shape, arranging them into a playful asymmetrical composition where the sharp facets of the topaz and spinel contrast perfectly against the metallic, detailed inclusions of the marcasite. The entire setting is mounted onto a modern, square-shaped sterling silver band that feels solid, ensuring the ring sits comfortably upright and perfectly balanced on your hand.
Because I hand-select each natural gemstone specimen and build every silver setting completely from scratch at the bench, this ring is entirely one-of-a-kind. To read more about how I source and work with my natural materials, head over to my materials page. It's a striking design built for anyone who loves clean lines mixed with a deep, dramatic color palette.
