Whispering Light features a square sterling silver shank with an asymmetrical arrangement of opal and unusual white chalcedony. The stones are set to create a sense of movement, letting light play across their surfaces for a luminous, ethereal effect.
I hand-cut the white chalcedony specimen in my own studio, carefully carving it to maximize its soft, translucent glow alongside the fiery flash of the opal. Because I do a lot of my own lapidary work, I am able to custom-shape these unique geological finds specifically to fit my hand-fabricated silver designs.
