Black Elliptical Ripple Earrings

The Black Elliptical Ripple earrings feature an elongated, fluid silhouette made from deep black glass. I hand-carved each piece to create a series of prominent, undulating ridges that run across the surface, giving the opaque glass a tactile, rippled texture that catches the light along every polished edge.

The glass elements are nestled into hand-fabricated sterling silver backings with a diamond-textured bezel that perfectly echoes the wavy, organic outline of the carving. They are post earrings that sit flush against the ear lobe, offering a bold, graphic statement that balances a clean aesthetic with a comfortable feel.

Every piece of glass is made by a process called cold-working, where the glass is carved at room temperature with no heat and is never liquid or pressed into a mold.
