Mermaid Bracelet

One of the most frequent comments I hear in my booth is that my work looks like mermaid jewelry. This bracelet—along with the others in the Mermaid series—is directly inspired by that notion. It captures the cool, fluid movement of ocean waters through a composition of rich coastal blues, seafoam hues, and iridescent shell. At its center, a broad piece of natural abalone displays swirling bands of green, violet, and peacock blue, layered underneath a teal blue rose-cut oval kyanite.

Hand-constructed in sterling silver, the focal arrangement continues upward with a sparkling white topaz set directly above the abalone, while a smooth, soft aquamarine cabochon rests to the left. Delicate wire silver bubbles float between the gem settings, linking the centerpiece to a broad, sculptural silver band finished with rippling, liquid folds that reflect light like water in motion.
