The Pink/Purple Garden Pendant Necklace is a fun, statement piece that is easy and comfortable to wear. I carved the main flower petals from a beautiful, soft blend of pink and purple glass, giving it a subtle ruffled texture. Like all of my glass pieces, it is opalescent, luminescent, and highly reflective, shifting in color as it moves and catches the light.
Right in the center, I hand-fabricated layered sterling silver ruffles to cradle a bright, sparkling amethyst stone. Instead of a traditional symmetric chain, the bloom connects directly to an asymmetrical mix of texturized paperclip links on one side and classic round links on the other. It is a very sparkly chain that catches the light beautifully from every angle and is completely adjustable from 16 to 20 inches, making it easy to find the perfect length for any neckline. It has a great organic texture and a pop of color that works just as well with a casual outfit as it does when you're dressed up.
Every piece of glass is made by a process called cold-working where the glass is carved at room temperature with no heat and never liquid or pressed into a mold.
