Red Rain Earrings

With the Red Rain earrings, I wanted to capture a fresh, fluid texture using a deep, dramatic color palette. The top portion of these earrings features hand-fabricated sterling silver elements with a soft, organic ripple and scattered cutouts that evoke water in motion.

Hanging just below are unique glass drops that I hand-carved to give them an undulating surface texture. The glass is a rich, translucent crimson red that glows from within when it catches the light. Each glass drop is securely nestled into sterling silver settings featuring a distinctive diamond-textured bezel that beautifully frames the organic silhouette of the glass.

They are post earrings, so they sit comfortably on the ear lobe while allowing the glass drops a subtle, elegant touch of movement below. They balance a bold splash of color with a completely hand-crafted feel.

Every piece of glass is made by a process called cold-working, where the glass is carved at room temperature with no heat and is never liquid or pressed into a mold.
