Transformation Earrings

$515.00

The Transformation earrings feature a two-tiered, articulated drop design that allows each segment to swing independently, creating gentle movement that catches the light. This design coordinates with the Transformation necklace, mimicking the look of botanical petals or butterfly wings.

Each earring is composed of two distinct hand-carved glass segments set in hand-fabricated sterling silver. The top post element features a smaller, organic carved glass shape designed to sit flat on the earlobe. Suspended from a small sterling loop below is an elongated glass drop.

The glass is a vibrant chartreuse with shifting blue and green undertones that emerge within the deep, hand-carved ridges. I hand-carved the surface of each segment with radiating, botanical textures that catch the light along the polished, raised edges and hold deeper, cooler shades of teal and emerald in the recesses.

Each piece of glass is secured in a form-fitting sterling silver bezel, finished with a signature hand-applied diamond texture along the metal edge to frame the organic contours of the carvings.

Every piece of glass is made by a process called cold-working, where the glass is carved at room temperature with no heat and is never liquid or pressed into a mold. If you want to learn more about my process and the durability of my materials, you can read the post where I break down my entire process on my Studio Journal.
