Umbra Earrings

The Umbra Earrings focus on deep, tonal contrast and raw gemmy textures. At the base of each post, a rounded, rose-cut larvikite cabochon showcases dark slate gray tones interspersed with natural shimmer. Larvikite is a rare Norwegian feldspar stone prized for its labradorescence—an optical phenomenon where internal mineral flashes glint bluish-silver beneath its dark, mottled surface as it catches light.

Sitting directly above the larvikite, a pear-cut black spinel brings a sleek, faceted geometry that contrasts the stone's dark, natural character. Tucked into the side, a small bezel-set clear topaz adds a crisp spark of brightness to offset the deep charcoal palette. Hand-constructed in sterling silver with an asymmetrical layout between the left and right ear, the arrangement creates a subtle, organic balance.
