The Halcyon Pendant is carved from laminated glass built from multiple colors held within a single floating form. Soft greens, aqua blues, and hints of lilac exist in close proximity—remaining distinct rather than blended—creating a quiet sense of suspension and calm internal movement.
The glass is entirely cold-worked: laminated, then slowly carved and shaped by hand without the use of heat. As the surface is cut back, rounded planes and recessed pockets emerge, breaking the color fields apart and re-containing them within the form. The colors shift subtly as light moves across the piece, giving the impression of depth, buoyancy, and gentle motion.
The carved glass is held within a hand-fabricated sterling silver structure composed of floating circular elements, both organic and deliberately balanced. A single peridot is set into the glass, offering a clear point of focus and a fresh, luminous contrast against the layered color.
The pendant hangs from a sparkling triple-strand sterling silver chain, adjustable from 16–20 inches, making it easy to wear with a range of necklines. The chain can also be worn on its own, offering flexibility in how the piece is styled.
