The Captured Elements Pendant focuses on geometric contrast, crisp linework, and dimensional color. By capturing textured, organic forms within a rigid structural frame, this design sets up an intentional dialogue between geometric boundaries and fluid movement.
I hand-fabricate the architectural, open setting from sterling silver, treating the bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that creates a detailed sparkle. Secured within this angular frame are two distinct, hand-shaped cold-worked glass elements in rich blue and turquoise tones. Each glass piece is intricately engraved with deep, undulating ridges that catch the light, while the iridescent finish causes the color to shift fluidly as it moves on the body. The open geometry of the frame allows the included sterling silver omega necklace to slide through smoothly.
Every glass element is cut, shaped, and carved individually in my studio, ensuring that the precise alignment of the ridges and the shifting, iridescent depth belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
