The Alani Necklace is a vibrant, sculptural statement piece inspired by joyful Caribbean colors and organic patterns. Designed to feel like a burst of pure happiness you can wear, this necklace balances a flowing arrangement of rounded, interlocking shapes with highly textured metalwork.
I hand-fabricate the contoured, multi-segmented bezel framework from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that creates a brilliant sparkle and depth. Nestled securely within this shimmering border is a hand-shaped cold-worked glass element displaying a rich, sun-warmed gradient of tangerine, gold, and citrus green. The glass features a signature matte surface that gives the bright colors a soft, velvety depth. The focal piece is flanked by a playful cluster of open silver rings on one side and hangs from a triple-strand sterling silver chain that sits comfortably at the collarbone.
Because I cut, shape, and polish every glass element individually in my studio, the precise blend of tropical colors and the fluid silhouette belong entirely to this one-of-a-kind piece.
