The Amethyst Harmony Necklace explores geometric structure, depth, and layered textures. By overlapping dimensional metalwork patterns directly over an engraved background, this design creates a detailed interplay between the silver elements and the glass surface.
I hand-fabricate the circular bezel framework and the layered open wire rings from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that creates a clean, sparkling border. Nestled inside this frame is a hand-shaped cold-worked deep violet glass element finished with a vibrant iridescence that reflects shifting light tones as it moves. The glass surface is individually engraved with a circular bubble pattern, providing a textured backdrop for the polished silver rings that float above it and frame a bezel-set genuine amethyst gemstone accent. The structural loops on either side transition directly into an adjustable, handmade sterling silver link chain featuring integrated asymmetric link details.
Every glass element is cut, shaped, and engraved individually in my studio, ensuring that the bubble patterns, metal placement, and iridescent color play belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
