The Black Harmony Necklace explores geometric structure, depth, and layered textures. By overlapping dimensional metalwork patterns directly over a dark focal backdrop, this design creates a stark, detailed contrast between the bright sterling silver elements and the matte glass surface.
I hand-fabricate the contoured bezel framework and the layered open wire rings from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture for a clean, detailed border. Nestled inside this frame is a hand-shaped cold-worked black glass element. The surface of the glass serves as a solid backdrop for the polished silver rings that float above it, which frame a single bezel-set genuine white topaz gemstone accent. The structural attachment loops transition directly into an adjustable, handmade sterling silver link chain featuring integrated link details.
Every glass element is cut, shaped, and polished individually in my studio, ensuring that the precise contours, metal placement, and material depth belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
