Part of the Bubble Series, the Bubble Landscape Necklace focuses on fluid movement, horizontal alignment, and a close harmony of blue tones. The design mimics the mesmerizing and trance-like sight of water bubbles effervescing to a surface, translating that texture directly into a wearable landscape format.
I hand-fabricate the elongated oval bezel setting and individual stone housings from sterling silver, detailing the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture for a clean, sparkling frame. Secured within this setting is a hand-shaped cold-worked glass element in a rich, saturated blue tone. The glass surface is meticulously engraved with smooth, varying spherical depressions to capture the look of suspended bubbles rising through deep water. Accenting the right side of the main frame is a tiered cluster of three distinct genuine gemstones: a tanzanite, a London blue topaz, and a deep iolite. The structural silver loops on either side anchor directly into an adjustable, handmade sterling silver chain featuring elongated link accents.
Every glass element is cut, shaped, and carved individually in my studio, ensuring that the specific bubble cluster pattern, fluid color fields, and stone alignment belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
