Part of the Shallow Pool Series, the Tidal Pool Necklace focuses on natural volume, complex layering, and organic textures. By assembling varied mineral cuts alongside a deeply sculpted centerpiece, this design mimics the fluid, multi-dimensional surfaces found in coastal tide pools.
I hand-fabricate each custom setting, bezel frame, and asymmetric accent loop from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture for a clean, detailed sparkle. The focal point features a hand-shaped cold-worked glass element carved with deep, undulating ripples to emulate the surface of moving water. The glass is finished with a soft iridescence that reflects pale green and lavender tones as it catches the light. Surrounding the carved glass is a hand-curated cluster of six distinct elements: genuine opal, prehnite, prasiolite, natural pearl, topaz, and a textured quartz druzy. The entire composition integrates directly into a handmade sterling silver link chain that finishes with a custom front-hook closure.
Every glass element is cut, carved, and polished individually in my studio, ensuring that the water-like surface textures, unique stone layout, and iridescent light play belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
Hand-fabricated sterling silver, iridescent cold-worked glass, genuine opal, prehnite, prasiolite, natural pearl, topaz, and quartz druzy.
Chain: Handmade sterling silver link chain, 18" long with a front-hook closure.
Studio-crafted and one-of-a-kind.
