The Intersection Pendant explores linear geometry, structural framing, and layered transparency. By overlapping open rectangular frames at dynamic angles, this design sets up an architectural dialogue with a fluid, textured centerpiece.
I hand-fabricate the intersecting rectangular borders and the glass setting from sterling silver, treating the bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that creates a clean, detailed sparkle. Held within this open framework is a hand-shaped cold-worked aqua glass element finished with a vibrant iridescence that catches the light as it moves. The glass surface is individually engraved with varied circular patterns to create a bubbly texture, anchored at the corner by a bezel-set genuine kyanite gemstone accent. The open structure allows an included sterling silver neck wire to thread directly through the geometric frames.
Every glass element is cut, shaped, and engraved individually in my studio, ensuring that the bubble patterns, linear alignment, and iridescent color depth belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
