The Morning Dew Pendant explores texture, directional linework, and soft color transitions. By contrasting a deeply carved, fan-like texture against a clean silver framework, this design mimics the fluid, rippled surfaces found in nature.
I hand-fabricate the contoured bezel frame, side channels, and gemstone settings from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture for a subtle sparkle. Secured within this frame is a hand-shaped cold-worked glass element, available in an array of shifting colorways. The glass features deep, carved grooves that catch the light, while an iridescent finish adds color depth as the piece moves on the body. Suspended directly from the bottom tip of the silver frame is a bezel-set genuine gemstone dangle that provides a clean point of crystalline reflection. The integrated side channels allow the piece to sit flat on the included adjustable sterling silver omega neck wire.
Every glass element is cut, carved, and polished individually in my studio, ensuring that the precise ridge spacing, shifting color gradients, and iridescent light play belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
