The Purple Fizz Pendant focuses on texture and organic detail. By engraving a pattern into the glass, this design mimics bubbles caught beneath a fluid surface, creating an interplay of depth and shadow.
I hand-fabricate the contoured bezel framework from sterling silver, treating the outer bezel walls with a hand-applied diamond texture that adds a clean, detailed sparkle. Nestled inside the frame is a hand-shaped cold-worked deep violet glass element finished with a subtle iridescence that shifts color as it moves. The surface of the glass is individually engraved with varied circular patterns to create a bubbly texture, complemented by a small cluster of genuine amethysts set neatly into the top border.
Every glass element is cut, carved, and engraved individually in my studio, ensuring that the bubble patterns and iridescent illumination belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
