The shape came first, that sweeping curve that reads like a dune caught mid-shift by the wind. Then the color fell into place, deep reds bleeding into burnt orange, the kind of gradation you see in desert rock just before the light changes. The glass is cold-worked and hand-carved, so the surface has real texture and depth, not just color sitting on top of a flat plane.

The sterling silver setting is handwrought and follows the contours of the glass rather than containing it. A faceted citrine drops from the bottom, picking up the warmth in the glass without competing with it.
