Part of the Shallow Pool Series, the Sunny Day Pendant explores layered volume, organic composition, and the tranquil movement of water. By pairing distinct, stacked elements that harmonize seamlessly, this design captures the reflection of light shifting across a shallow tide, melding natural stone with meticulously hand-worked glass.

I hand-fabricate the stacked teardrop and circular bezel frames from sterling silver, executing a highly polished finish across the metal surfaces to create a fluid, mirror-like gleam. The focal piece features a bright yellow hand-shaped cold-worked glass element, intricately surface-carved to mirror the nuanced ripple of a water's surface. Layered alongside the glass is a prominent, beautifully faceted genuine labradorite gemstone displaying a natural iridescence. The entire dimensional pendant is suspended from an included, handwrought hammered sterling silver neck wire.

Every glass element is cut, carved, and polished individually in my studio, ensuring that the precise texture of the water ripples and the layered interplay of light belong strictly to this one-of-a-kind piece.
