For this design, a shimmering natural pink muscovite takes center stage—a specimen I hand-cut right here in my studio. To contrast its raw, textured glitter, I paired it with a vibrant pink sapphire and a crisp topaz accent.
It’s an eye-catching statement piece with a comfortable, low-profile silhouette that gives you a beautiful presence on the hand. I hand-fabricated the individual sterling silver bezels to precisely trace the irregular perimeter of the muscovite and the clean edges of the accent stones, arranging them into an asymmetrical composition that catches the light from every angle. The entire setting is mounted onto a modern, square-shaped sterling silver band that feels solid and keeps the piece perfectly balanced on your finger.
Because I hand-cut many of my own stones and build every silver setting completely from scratch at the bench, this ring is entirely one-of-a-kind.
